Mirrors are an integral part of any bathroom and a bathroom would be incomplete without a mirror. It would also be the most vital element in a bathroom since it is this mirror in which you look at yourself in close-up. How your whole day turns out would depend upon how you see yourself in the mirror after your bath and make up. It shouldn't leave us feeling self conscious about our looks. That would spoil the whole day.
Mirrors are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes that would fit any bathroom décor. So the mirror to be chosen for the bathroom would depend upon the shape, size and decoration of the bathroom, and also on the budget. There are basically three types of mirrors that could be used in the bathroom, the fixed type, the wall hanging type and the movable types.
Fixed Mirrors:
Fixed mirrors are the basic mirrors which are fixed to the cabinets used in a bathroom. The cabinets could be either of the jutting-out type, or they could be a built-in cabinet, where the mirror would be flush with the wall of the bathroom. They are far from stylish, mainly meant for the utility purpose and hence would fit any décor. They would also be low-cost and hence within the low-budget bathroom limits.
Movable Mirrors:
Movable Mirrors are those which are seen in high-end bathrooms since they are on the expensive side. They are usually of a swivel type or they are fixed to an extendable metal arm. These mirrors could be tilted to a position which could give you a better view. Movable mirrors are new entrants in the market and hence they would be on the expensive side. But we could expect the prices to go down as more manufacturers bring out such kind of mirrors and the demand increases.
